In my role as a counsellor and supervisor, my principal aim is to help you feel more confident and to find purpose and meaning in your personal and professional life.

In practice for over 20 years, I am a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) www.bacp.co.uk and work within its ethical framework.

I take referrals from GPs and Employee Assistance Programmes and I also provide clinical and workplace supervision.

I have extensive experience of working with people in a wide variety of settings.  During a varied career I have held senior communications roles in the media industry; worked for many years in film and television production and in Further Education as a tutor of language and literacy.  I have also run groups based on ‘The Artist’s Way’, bringing creativity into daily life.

My approach is humanistic, constructive and down-to-earth.  I have a straightforward and practical approach to all aspects of communication and a holistic view of health, putting your physical, mental and emotional well-being at the heart of our working relationship.
